OUR MISSION

At A Better Course we believe that everyone needs help sometimes to make better choices on the journey of life.

A Better Course, LLC (ABC) is to create an environment that provides youth and adults an opportunity to learn and grow to become productive citizens in their home, schools, and communities. 
To provide direct healthcare to persons experiencing an acute crisis of psychiatric nature that may jeopardize their current community living situation.   To provide mental health buffers following events, life stressors, trauma, and/or treatment and medication lapses that puts them at risk of psychiatric hospitalization.  Crisis Stabilization services are to assist adults and youth by a team of qualified staff members through interventions geared toward wellness and the least restrictive environment.  The outcome of clinical assessments will identify individualized needs and the necessity of temporary placements; determined by licensed and pre-screen certified personnel until the crisis de-escalates.  This model can be an effective alternative to emergency psychiatric hospitalization in many circumstances.
